Pre-Accelerator Programme

Our Pre-Accelerator programmes are designed as Early Stage Investment Readiness Programmes (“ESIRP”). ESIRP is organized by the Brickstone Africa for project companies seeking to join Brickstone Infrastructure Accelerator Programme.

ESIRP  is designed as an entrepreneurial finance training for entrepreneurs developing (or involved) in Idea to Early-stage Large Scale Infrastructure and Industrial projects but lack the knowledge of basic limited recourse financial principles.The goal of this programme is to equip infrapreneurs with an overview of Project Finance by taking them through all the stages of a Project Finance transaction to apply the skills set to Projects in order to  achieve bankability Requirement

ESIRP  is dedicated to supporting Idea to Early-Stage stage Projects startups seeking to use Project Finance Methodology in their Financing . We have currently designed the Early Stage Investment Readiness Program in 4 main specializations area

However if your project DOES NOT fall in any of the categories, you can still take the general Pre-Accelerator programme ( delivered On-Demand) Developing & Financing Infrastructure Projects 

Program Details

The ESIRP is a mix of virtual and in-person programming. There is an 8 weeks of virtual programming in each cohort, in addition to 6 day+ in-person sessions of connecting with your cohort and networking with our global community. The majority of virtual webinars will be held via Zoom. Upon acceptance into the program, we request full participation in our webinars, events and workshops.

  • Application Period:
    • Register your interest by filling out this form as soon as possible. The programme’s session fee is $500, to be paid in full upon acceptance.
  • Online-Action Lead Immersion Learning  (8 weeks)
    • 8 weeks of On-Demand Learning, workshopping, networking, and project finance and development . Full attendance across the eight-weeks is required.
    • Throughout your time in the program, you will complete a Capstone Report which is the Bankability Planning Report that focusses on an implementation bankability of your Project. You will be paired with a faculty advisor who will support you in the development the Bankability Planning Report of your project and you will be asked to meet with your advisor for regular feedback.
  • In-Person Session (Hybrid Session)  ( 3 days)
    • The in-person programming and Demo Day will take place during in July yearly.
