1. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

Project Development Analyst  role provides the ideal opportunity to gain experience and enhance your technical and professional skills increasing your knowledge of Developing  Large Scale Projects and laying the foundations for your future career at Brickstone Africa.

The role requires Analyst with Architectural or Cost Consultancy Technical knowledge in the field of the built environment and a sound knowledge of relevant project management practices. In addition, you will be required to demonstrate an understanding of real estate project scheduling, planning, financing, and administration.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, organizational skills and strong leadership in managing teams and multiple projects. The person must have excellent client facing skills and a proactive and quality-led, enthusiastic approach.

Please Note: This is a fulltime hybrid role ( 3 days in-person and 2 days-online) and the work location is located within Lagos Mainland around Ikeja, Off Allen, Lagos 

2. AREAS OF FOCUS 

A. Project Development Management

You would work in a team where your role will include:

  • Manage design and development projects from inception to completion, including project budgets and pro formats, design, zoning, marketing and leasing efforts.
  • Create project schedules and manage all aspects of projects to achieve deadlines.
  • Review design concepts and modify drawings for Projects and provide feedback.
  • Make necessary site visits to review progress of construction and participate in resolving challenges.
  • Identifying project and client requirements for various projects
  • Develop Progress Reports on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, as progress and commitments are made.
  • Balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost in projects assigned to.

B. Project Venture Building

You would work in a team where your role will include:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities in the middle market infrastructure sector
  • Perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis and market assessment.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance and operational support.
  • Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and provide regular updates to the investment team.
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to stay informed about market trends.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to develop and implement investment strategies.
  • Work with head of principal investments to manage and oversee the capital deployment into transactions to ensure funds are deployed as per execution plan.
  • Execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities as directed the firm.
  • Applying appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment actions.

C. Programme Management

You would work in a team where your role will include:

  • Assist in Management and Engagement with prospective attendees with Brickstone and The African Catalyst (TAC) Events
  • Assist in development and solicitation of Potential Participants and Partners aimed for the Brickstone & TAC events
  • Assist in Programme Management for Speakers and other attendees
  • Submitting relevant Decks and Proposals as well as management of pipelines and sales figures
  • Develop Event Progress Reports on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, as progress and commitments are made.
  • Balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost in projects assigned to.

3. NATURE OF WORK

This is a fulltime hybrid role ( 3 days in-person and 2 days-online) and the work location is located within Lagos Mainland around Ikeja, Off Allen, Lagos

4. QUALIFICATION

Qualification & Technical Skills

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Achitecture or Quantity Surveying. Project Management Certification or PMP is an added advantage
  • 1– 3 years of experince in Project Management for Large Scale Real Estate and Infrastructure transactions
  • Strong Enthusiasm for Career development in Project Finance and Transaction Advisory

Other Requirements

  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly, Working with minimal supervision, Strong team skills
  • Well-presented with good interpersonal skills

Payroll Consideration

  • Payroll is begged at a minimum of NGN 240,000 per month (net) but this can be increased based on the experience/performance of candidate during assesment.
