1. CORPORATE SUPPORT INTERN

This is an excellent opportunity for individual to take the initiative, is self-motivated and a quick learner, and wants to gain broad experience supporting the Corporate Support Activities ( Office Front Desk, Administration , Accounts & Planning) which are very entrepreneurial, fast-paced roots and yet is large enough to be international and stable. The intern will get to work on impactful projects and participate in multiple lunch and learn session with our executives, networking activities, and project showcasing during the internship.

2. MAIN ASPECTS OF THE JOB

A. Office Operations & Adminstration

You would work in a team where your role will include:

  • Manage office operations and administrative functions, such as managing correspondence, organizing files, and ordering supplies.
  • Coordinate and oversee office logistics, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and handling office maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and coordinating employee benefits.
  • Perform general accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and payroll.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

B. Corporate Communications & PR

You would work in a team where your role will include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills.
  • Help team in creating content for press releases, newsletters and other marketing initiatives in line with the tonality of the communication practices followed by our company.
  • Come up with ideas for all communication and public relations across channels
  • Responsibly leverage social media platforms with appropriate tagging and help scale social media presence
  • A good understanding and interest about social media channels and best practice

C. Events & Programme Management

You would work in a team where your role will include:

  • Assist in Management and Engagement with prospective attendees with Brickstone and The African Catalyst (TAC) Events
  • Assist in development and solicitation of Potential Participants and Partners aimed for the Brickstone & TAC events
  • Assist in Programme Management for Speakers and other attendees
  • Submitting relevant Sponsorship Decks and Proposals as well as management of Corporate Sponsors
  • Develop Event Progress Reports on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, as progress and commitments are made.
  • Balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost in projects assigned to.

3. DURATION

The duration is for an initial period of Four (4) months but there would be a probation period of One (1) month,

4. SKILLS WE REQUIRE

Technical Skills

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in any Course
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting & HR or General Administration (NYSC Corpers are strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Familiarity with Office Management, HR, Events Planning & Corporate Communciation

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work remotely (online) in a less noisy environment
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly, Working with minimal supervision, Strong team skills
  • Well-presented with good interpersonal skills

Payroll Consideration

  • Interns would be given a Stipend of NGN 125,000 per month for an initial period of Four (4) months
