1. CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT & PARTNERSHIPS
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Development & Programmes, Partnership Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s growth initiatives through strategic planning, market analysis, and execution of corporate development activities.
You will work closely with senior management to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities for Brickstone and The African Catalyst.
The role is part of the leadership team involved in the front-operations of the firm by introducing, advancing, promoting and sustaining the firm clients.
Manages the firm’s business development and client relationship management activities.
2. MAIN ASPECTS OF THE JOB
A. Client Interface & Project Management
You would work in a team where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Your activities include:
- Create pitch presentations to inform potential or existing clients about our products or services of Brickstone and The African Catalyst.
- Take lead on Client Relationship and ensure that clients are satisfied with the company at all times and will bring in repeated business by resolving any outstanding issues.
- Research and inform company of new contacts and marketing opportunities in our chosen sectors in Brickstone and The African Catalyst.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with grant and funding requirements, including timely submission of reports and documentation.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting outcomes and action items.
B. Partnerships & Business Development
You would work in a team where your role will include:
- Research and prospect for new investors to ensure a robust pipeline of engagementswithin the market for Brickstone and The African Catalyst offerings
- Build relationships with the decision makers within potential investor organisations for Brickstone and The African Catalyst offerings
- Develop the systems and procedures to enable the effective execution of new business development for Brickstone and The African Catalyst offerings
- Prepare, develop, and edit grant proposals, written responses to RFPs, marketing materials, donor funding requests, concept notes, and other partnership documents.
- Conduct data searches in relevant sectors and translate data into clear, understandable language.
C. Corporate Communications
You would work in a team where your role will include:
- Responsible for strategic communications engagement/planning for promotion and dissemination of corporate, digital & social media, training and marketing initiatives for the firm
- Assisting in promoting the work of Brickstone in the press, liaising with journalists, editing and issuing press releases, and arranging media interviews our online and offline events.
- Responsible for Corporate Marketing and management of Leads showing interest in the firm
- Sourcing and Co-ordinating outsourced marketing material, quality images and video to promote Brickstone Africa
- Assisting with production of publicity materials, including email updates, newsletters, leaflets and posters to promote the work of the firm.
- Minute taking and preparing detailed reports on key meetings and events.
D. Programme Management
You would work in a team where your role will include:
- Assist in Management and Engagement with prospective attendees with Brickstone and The African Catalyst (TAC) Events
- Assist in development and solicitation of Potential Participants and Partners aimed for the Brickstone & TAC events
- Assist in Programme Management for Speakers and other attendees
- Submitting relevant Decks and Proposals as well as management of pipelines and sales figures
- Develop Event Progress Reports on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, as progress and commitments are made.
- Balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost in projects assigned to.
3. DURATION
The initail duration of Six (6) Month and there would be a probation period of One (1) month.
4. QUALIFICATION
Qualification & Technical Skills
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering or Finance. Post graduate degrees are an added advantage
- Familiarity with Corporate Law, Project Management and investment regulation and project finance transactions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as solid presentation skills.
- Very Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to efficiently gather, process and analyse data provided by Analyst
Other Requirements
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly, Working with minimal supervision, Strong team skills
- Well-presented with good interpersonal skills
Payroll Consideration
- Payroll is begged at a minimum of NGN 350,000 per month (net) but this can be increased based on the experience/performance of candidate during assesment.
